Official Synopsis

“In TMNT: Mutants Unleashed, the Turtles’ newfound bliss is abruptly disturbed by a new wave of mutants wreaking turmoil throughout New York City, after they have finally been accepted into society and are following their dream of attending a regular high school. The four masked heroes, each with a distinct playstyle, are controlled by the players as they navigate New York’s sewers and city streets. Discover a world that is both above and below earth, and get to know well-known characters as the motley crew of heroes in a half-shell get ready to enthrall fans back home with their wild antics. Later this year, players can prepare to order takeaway and go on adventures by themselves or with a pal in two-player local cooperative mode.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed was developed by A Heartful of Games, the same team behind DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Realms, and released by Outright Games, a family-friendly video game publisher.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are having a hectic time right now. Later in the summer, a cartoon spin-off called Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will air, based on Mutant Mayhem.

The same company that brought us the remakes of Destroy All Humans! and Destroy All Humans! 2, Black Forest Games, is currently working on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game based on the Last Ronin comic. Naturally, October 9, 2026, is the release date for Paramount’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem sequel.
